The
Screamin' Eagles will be playing for the Southeastern League Championship
at the MCCC this Saturday, May 14, 2011. With a record of 12 – 5 –
3, undefeated in the Presidents Conference, the first game is at 10:45 AM
vs. the Chattanooga Speeders, against who we are 3 – 0 this season.
The next game will be vs. the Atlanta Tigers at 1 PM, we split the only
2 games played. The SEPSL Championship Game will be played at 3 PM, and
the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders will be making an appearance from 12 –

The
2nd Annual
Georgia Games Power Soccer Championship
will be held at the Ga. Mountains YMCA in Gainesville, GA on July 17, 2011.

The
6th SE League convened for the 6th time of the 2011 Season at UT Chattanooga
last Saturday 03/26. The Screamin' Eagles beat the Shepherd Strikers 4-nil,
Chattanooga Speeders 3-nil, and Birmingham Lakeshore Power 6-nil, and played
the St. Louis DASA Dynamite to a 3-3 tie. The team is scheduled to play
in Tampa, FL on April 16th, however the team is short on funds for hotel
& transportation costs. Please consider making a donation to help the

The
Screamin' Eagles played for the 5th time of the 2010/11 season in Chester,
SC on March 5. The team beat the Charlotte Power Surge 3-2 to remain undefeated
in the Presidents Conference. The Eagles also squared off against the Tidewater
Piranhas from the Champions Conference with a nil-nil result, and took on
the Atlanta Tigers & Atlanta Synergy - both from the Premier Conference
- losing 1-nil and 4-nil respectively. The next SEPSL competition is on
March 26 in Chattanooga site & schedule TBD.
The
4th SEPSL meet was scheduled to be in Chattanooga on 01/14 but the Snowpocalypse
caused a cancellation. No make-up date has been scheduled to date.
In
the 3rd SE League day held in Birmingham, AL, the Screamin' Eagles beat
DASA Firecrackers 4-1, and Lakeshore Power 4-2 bringing the team's record
to 3-0 in the Presidents Conference. A 7-1 win against the Louisanna LightningHawks
started the day, and a loss came in the 4th
match to the DASA
Dynamite from St. Louis 0-1
from the Champions Conference. The overall record is 5-3-1 with the next
SE League day will be in Chattanooga on January 15.
In
the 2nd SE League day
of the 2010/11 season, the
Screamin' Eagles beat the Chattanooga Speeders 3-1 in the 1st match of the
season in the Presidents Conference, at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta.
Nine teams comepeted, which featured the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders performing
at halftime of the Eagles vs. Speeders game.

The
SEPSL Championship will be held at Mulberry Creek CC on May 14, 2011. The
team will also host the USPSA President's Conference Cup Championship on

The
Screamin' Eagles took 2nd place in the very 1st Georgia
Games Power Soccer Championship Tournament on July 11, 2010 at the Fair
Oaks Recreation Center in Marietta, GA. More info.
The
2010 Americas Champions Cup was held last month in Burnaby, Ontario, Canada,
where the Atlanta Synergy beat the Tampa Thunder 4-0 in the Flnals. The
games featured 4 Power Soccer teams from the USA vs the the top 4 Power
Soccer teams from Canada. The Americas
Champions Cup was organized by FIPFA,
USPSA, and PFC.

2009/10 Season Review
The NGA Screamin' Eagles finished 22-4-4 overall in Division II, with a 5th place finish in Indiana at the USPSA Nationals. The team won the USPSA Southeastern Regional Championship at Mulberry Creek CC, and the USPSA Eastern Regional Championship hosted by Royalty Power Soccer at Lucky Shoals Park in Norcross, GA.
